Questions & Answers
(Verbal answers are recorded in the video)
Q: how do I transfer files from 3Ds max to the imvu studio?
A: The Toolkit is the easiest way.
Q: How do we open a product to derive? Do we click the link on the website that takes us to the Creator Tool?
A: No. The best way to derive from a specific product in IMVU Studio is by product ID number (PID). Here is a tutorial article on deriving in Studio: https://create.imvu.com/articles/studio/imvu-studio-deriving/
Q: I opened the pose master files in 3Ds max but I don’t know how to save an avatar pose with it.
A: These are very old and problematic. This is a large part of why we would like to develop the Studio Toolkit
Q: Can you make another video for particles?
A: This learning session might be helpful for learning particles https://create.imvu.com/articles/studio/imvu-studio-learning-session-4-particles-and-animated-textures/

Q: Can we use the Maya Toolkit features in a MacBook?
A: The Maya Studio Toolkit will work on both Windows PC and Mac.
Q: Some people don’t know how to make opacity maps and clothes textures. Are there videos for that?
