2.1 Take a picture in a room

Read the guidelines below to freeze a moment and capture it in a photo.
- Open the IMVU Desktop App and Log In.
- Click on the My Room
or on the Chat Room 
mode, depending on whether you want to take a photo in your room or in a room of your choice.

Once your avatar is in a room, you have two tricks to take a photograph. You can use the *hiressnap and *hiresnobg codes. These codes let you take snapshots without having to use the camera feature (the one explained in the “Take a picture of your avatar” section).
- *hiressnap
- It lets you take pictures “as is”, reproducing your scene exactly as it appears on your screen.
- *hiresnobg
- It lets you take photos of the avatars on the scene without the background.
Let’s see how to use these codes.
Once you are in a room of your choice, click on the Chat Bubble 
.
● *hiressnap code
When you are in front of the scene you want to capture, type *hiressnap in the chat box and click on Send.
The screen will freeze for a second.
Now go to your Desktop and you will find a .png file called hiResSnapshot1.
Below you can see the result of the taken photo.
● *hiresnobg code
Once your avatar is ready for a photo, type *hiresnobg in the chat box and click on Send.
The screen will freeze for a second.
Now go to your Desktop and you will find a .png file with the name hiResNoBg1.
Below you can see the result of the taken picture of your avatar.
