When it comes to create a new texture for your sofa, we encourage you to try different colors using as a base one of the 3 textures above.
Here are some textures created from the previous ones that can inspire you to create your new sofa’s texture.
As you can see, the possible combinations are endless! You just need to allow your creativity take control.
Let’s start!
The easiest way to change the color of a texture is to make a new layer.
A new window opens to set the attributes of the layer.
Now that a new layer has been created, you need to fill the layer with a color.

In this case, the current Background Color is white. When you click on it, a new window opens and a pallet of colors is displayed.

Let’s choose a color for your sofa.
In this tutorial we are going to choose an IMVU purple.
We encourage you to try different colors and select the one that fits best with your style.

The Background Color has changed from white to the chosen color. In this case, it has changed from white to purple.

Once it is selected, the shape of the cursor changes.

The color of the layer has changed from transparent to the chosen color. In this case, it has changed from transparent to purple.

It is necessary to change the Layer Mode (Layers Tab) to see the changes on your texture.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have created a new texture for your sofa.
